We live today in a world that is entirely different from the one we grew up in and the one we were educated in. The world is changing at such an accelerated rate that we have to constantly monitor the entire system of education. Today a very important question needs to be reflected upon. Are our schools well equipped to prepare our children to face the challenges that the future holds?
We at MEMS, have an apt answer to it as we follow the Four Pillars of Education as rightly coined by Jacques Delors, that is, Learning to be, Learning to know each other, Learning to do and Learning to Live and share together. Our teachers are trained to guide and nurture the students to understand the world around them and develop an openness to the knowledge of one’s own and the others.
Aristotle has rightly said,”Educating the mind without educating the heart is no education at all.” In addition to imparting education to match the advancement in technology, we build our children with MEMS ethos of moral values and principles. We endeavour constantly to instill these qualities in our students and help them to grow and develop into sensitive and responsible citizens of the coming generation. We explore the possibilities in every individual child, hone their skills and make them confident to achieve worthy goals.
Roots and Wings are the two bequests that will definitely take our children to a higher plane. Roots are offered by our parents and we at MEMS provide them with Wings to soar greater heights.
